Walkways and ecological restoration locations

These maps show the locations of the walkways and ecological restorations being done by the Tamahere Mangaone Restoration Trust in the Tamahere and Matangi areas.

The Tamahere Reserve is located on Tauwhare Road between Woodcock Road and the expressway. The best access into the reserve is from the top carpark, opposite Woodcock Road as shown on the map.

Travelling from Matangi, Bilsthorpe Lane reserve is accessed from the cul-de-sac at the end of Bilsthorpe Lane which is a short road off Matangi Road,

The Allan Turner bridge and reserve is accessed travelling from Tamahere to the end of Woodcock Road or travelling from Matangi at the end of Fuchsia Lane which is off Matangi Road,
